Tommy

This photo was taken during the drought in the summer of 1988 at the Glory Hole District, Calaveras Co. CA. The Three hunched guys are Tom, Paul Garvin and Dan Kelly with New Melones Lake in the background. Russ Brimer's arm makes it into the right side of the photo. This locality is now flooded, as normal rainfall of the last 10 years has filled the lake. Along those lines, the crystal-filled islands, which protrude from the lake's surface, are all underwater as well.
